- I live in Baltimore, Md., where I previously covered the Baltimore Skipjacks, working as a color analyst and statistician with current Colorado Avalanche play-by-play man Mike Haynes. I also worked with current Washington Capitals radio broadcaster Steve Kolbe with the Skipjacks. After the Skipjacks skipped off to Portland and gave way to the Baltimore Bandits, I also served as the official statistician and color commentator with another future NHL broadcaster, Brian Hamilton, who later broadcast games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. I have also covered the Hershey Bears for JohnWaltonHockey.com by writing postgame reports and various feature stories.
